On 5 August 2024, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water determined the proposed development as a Controlled Action under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth). You can track our progress on the EPBC public portal here

Equis completed its first community drop-in session on the 18th of October 2024 between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Wanganella Hall, NSW. For material presented at the drop-in session, please click the link below.

The proposed Wanganella Wind Farm is located next to the Cobb Highway in Wanganella, New South Wales.

Wanganella Wind Farm intends to connect to New South Wales' electricity network via a switching station connecting to the proposed 500kV Victoria to New South Wales Interconnector West (VNI West).

Wanganella Wind Farm is expected to commence operations by 2032.
